north face borealis for a short period of time

Q a with kyle http://www.discountwoodfloors.co.uk/ korver Since losing ben gordon to detroit in free agency the chicago bulls have lacked a credible long range threat.Last season chicago was near the bottom of the league in 3-Point shooting, but that's all about to change. Former utah jazz forward kyle korver signed a 3-Year $15 million dollar contract with the bulls this summer ensuring that chicago won't be clanking 3-Point shots for at least a couple of more years. When you have derrick rose on your team his driving ability will sometimes command a double-Team that will leave korver open to drain the long ball.Carlos boozer's inside presence, joakim noah's rebounding ability, and luol deng's mid-Range game could leave korver feasting at the three-Point line.Teams are going to have to pick their poison against the chicago bulls. I spoke with kyle korver about being the bulls 3-Point specialist, preparing for chicago winters, and his kyle korver foundation. Ss:How does it feel to finally get to camp after all of the hoopla of this summer? Kyle korver:Yeah! It feels good man.I'm excited to go.It's been a lot going on, a lot of transition, a lot of new people, and a lot of new faces everywhere, right?I'm trying to get settled in a new city and it feels right.I'm ready to go. Ss:The team needs shooting more than anything and that's what you do best. For people who aren't familiar with your game talk about what you bring to the court and how you can excel with this particular roster. Kyle korver:Shooting has always been what i've done best. That's why they brought me here. It's something i take a lot of pride in and work at every day.In a pick and roll derrick and booz need space to do what they do.If i'm out there even if i'm not getting an actual shot my guy won't get very far off me, that gives derrick and booz the space to do what they need to do.That's the main reason they brought me here.I like to think i play hard.I like to play smart, team basketball, and make the extra pass.I'm trying to bring that nice pure iowa basketball. Ss:[Laughs] OK.What are your impressions of coach thibodeau so far? Kyle korver:He's into the details of the game, right. He's a very good coach. He knows his stuff. He's very well prepared for practice.I can't imagine what games are going to be like. You can tell he works really hard and really enjoys what he does.I'm hoping that'll be passed on to the team. Ss:Your shooting ability could be a huge asset to start off games.Do you have a preference on starting or coming off the bench? Kyle korver:I don't care man.I'd like to be in at the end of the game.In my career i've started games and came off the bench, it doesn't really matter to me a whole lot.I want to be in there in the fourth quarter. The goal is to prove that i belong in there during that time. Ss:You've spent a lot of time in iowa;Did that prepare you for chicago's weather? Kyle korver:Man!Last time i was in chicago was our last game before christmas break and it was 40 below zero.On the tv they said don't go outside or you might die! That's what it said on tv [laughs]!But we had to do all of our christmas shopping.Everyone saves their christmas shopping for chicago because you're on a long road trip and you don't want to pick up stuff in atlanta because you have to carry your bags everywhere.Everyone saves their christmas shopping for chicago but it was 40 below outside! We ran from the westin to north face and were grabbing hats, gloves, and scarves with tags still on them [laughs]!We were huddled together as a team running down michigan avenue trying to get our shopping done! It was so coldMan!Being from nebraska and iowa i'm used to that a little bit. It's a little more windy here than it is there. It's not something i'm looking forward to but it's something i can deal with. Ss:What are your personal goals for the season? Kyle korver:Just to play well, man.To stay healthy, keep on getting better, make shots, and help this team win. Ss:Tell me about seer clothing and the kyle korver foundation. Kyle korver:Yeah. We started about five years ago.Basically everywhere that i've played we tried to start something. We meet a lot of real cool and talented people who want to make a difference in the world so we teamed with them.In philly we have a mission that we fixed up.We have after school tutoring programs and sports programs where you can just kind of hang out and share life with these kids. There's stuff going on every single day there. In salt lake we started a construction company and built handicap ramps, we've fixed roofs, and fixed bathrooms. We have someone who is there every single day and that's all that he does.In omaha where i went to creighton we work with the boys girls club. Seer clothing is how we help fund all of this stuff. We're trying to get a store here in chicago. We have a couple of stores in salt lake and in iowa. When you buy a shirt the shirt pays for itself and the rest goes toward the foundation. We're not making a penny off of it.We're just trying to do this so we don't have to have a golf fundraiser every month, right. This stuff all cost a lot of money. At some point in time i'm not going to be playing basketball anymore and they're going to quit writing checks. We're trying to get something rolling for when i'm done playing we're able to keep everything going.Everything that we start we want to keep going forever. We don't want to do something north face borealis for a short period of time. We're trying to leave something lasting in every single city that we play in.
